Day one
The group will experience snowshoeing in the woods of Valmalenco. The Alpine guides will provide the kids with information about the layering of the snow, the causes of avalanches and how mountain rescue is carried out (+ simulation using avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes). The guides will teach the group how to deal with a snow storm and to build shelters. Visit to the talc mine “La Bagnada”.

Day two
The activities can be carried out in two days, adding an evening dedicated to watching videos on the talc mine, the layering of snow and avalanches.
